ConceptDraw 1.8
Version 1.8 of this diagramming software can import and export "XML for ConceptDraw" formatted text files. This format enables full descriptions of ConceptDraw documents to be saved in plain text files, from which this application (and potentially, third-party tools) can in turn generate visual documents.

Interaction 4.0
Today Media Design in*Progress released version 4.0 of Interaction, an XML/XSL-based web application server for Macintosh. A press release states that this version "adds support for WebStar V on MacOSX, Mac Web Sharing, Apache," and other UNIX and Windows server software, as well as offering improved "Forum and Chat services, with support for themes"; an Interaction theme "is a set of XSL stylesheets or HTML templates that controls the layout and style of the pages of a service." The server generates "HTML and WAP pages from server-side XML and XSL or CSS2 style sheets," and "Legacy HTML documents can be used as is or enhanced with XML constructs, facilitating a smooth transition from HTML to Extensible HTML [XHTML] and XML." A free 30-day trial is available.
